Hi there
I run a 2004 twin-spark 1150RT and have been told that a number of boxer motors have suffered excessive carbon build up, some resulting in premature engine failure.
I's believed that this has something to do with the use of supermarket-branded fuel.
Is this the case? I use branded fuels most of the time (80% +) and try to use V-Power or the equivalent every third or fourth tankful. Is this enough or do I need to use some form of additive?
