I understand the issues around bringing something to production, The part will be (i think) good looking, has a use

and would probably have a reasonable market here.
However, as a bloke looking to spend money on this, someone has to show a finished product, fitted and some nice sexy closeups with feedback and progress updates.
Without this the product will fail.
All the hard work seems to have been done to get the mould to this stage, so what's the issue with banging a couple out for folks to look at.
All manufacturers take a hit initially on costs - these overheads are usually amortised in the product price.
Asking for as few as 5 people to order this before producton can commence indicates the overhead is not at all high.
Adam should get 5 made, take the initial hit and sell them on here. They will sell I assure you.
