OK Guys i'm no fabricator but I knocked this up over the weekend from an old sheet of Carbon Fibre I wanted a power supply directly from the battery for my Optimate I've left space in case I want to add anything else. the P clips are Stainless steel from RS components .

Nice job,

Just a Q.. would the socket cap get knocked if the P clips were reversed so the panel sits more flush with the frame?? I think it would look cleaner IMHO

:beerjug:

I did try it that way first & the socket was still clear I decided to fit it recessed as I did not want it to be to prominent, but I can see what your saying I dont actually like the P clips that much but they do a good job.
Cheers

Different topic.....

....looking at your pic I noticed.....

....on my '06 GSA I put my tax disc behind the left hand cylinder head using the bolt of the guard....on my '10 GSA the bolt didn't seem long enough, and I struggled finding somewhere to bolt it on. It's currently bolted to the pannier rails, and very vunerable!...

....what a great idea to use a c-clip bracket! :thumb2

I'm going to get me one of them....but where from?
