Got my GSA booked in for it's 24K in a couple of weeks and he put a new tyre on today for me. He tried out his new tyre fitting machine that he has only just had installed with great success. Had a great chat about the problems with Rydale, margins on bikes/clothes etc, 1200 issues, lots of things.
He had one of those custom/cruiser type bmw bikes in half and was working on it and was saving the owner £500 compared with the bill quoted at Rydale!
He'll give you lots of honest tips and charge a realistic labour rate, not one that has to try and claw back the massive franchise costs of a main dealer.
I'm not hesitating to say to you all to get down there and see him or ring him. I'd do it sooner rather than later as well as his diary is filling up already.
He's going to get a website up and running in the next few weeks but until then I'd just get on the blower and have a chat.
He needs us to support him in the early days and I'm sure we'll need Mike just as much, if not more, in the months ahead.
