BMW back in Cardiff

Yesterday I got my 6k service done at Cardiff Sytner. I was apparently the first one, with eight more bikes booked in. All very straightforward, a lovely big waiting area and nice coffee. Much easier than Bristol or Cheltenham for me. Very low key at the moment with just two bikes on display to raise awareness for car drivers who also ride. Paul (the bike service manager) said they are planning to build a mezzanine floor in December for the new bike section. A thumbs up from me.

Called in there today. Getting a price for a new 1300 as there is an offer on. Free luggage worth £1600 if bike ordered before end of March. Definitely worth getting a price.

Hmm, they have the usual bmw motorad customer deterrent system in place, uses whatsapp, tried to book a service gave them all details, had a reply via whatsapp from a chap who said he coul;dnt help without the vin number as the reg given was not on their system...#
I replied pointing out that no reg given but I had included the model type, ie R1250GS!!
replied he would pass it on to the motorrad section....no further contac t
phoned the dealer principal, he said my query would be actioned asap, a call from the service desk to book bike in.
That was 4 weeks ago and surprise surprise, no phone call
so Im thinking of trying cotswold next, as Dickhead Lovatts have equally bad service if not worse!!
