Hi all
So Mrs Pillion has decided that being a passenger princess is the way to go for her and is keen to get out with more on a more regular basis. One of her "conditions" is that we have good comms. I already had a Packtalk Edge, so I went on to buy a Packtalk Pro for myself and passed the Edge onto her. At the same time, I also purchased a Carpuride W502bs unit for the BMW cradle.
We had a little ride out last week and the DMC connection worked perfectly. When we got home, I noticed one of the buttons was broken. Contacted Cardo and the unit was replaced within 4 days. Great service.
When we went to go out yesterday, I set up the new Cardo unit and went onto connecting the 2 via DMC and nothing. I couldn't even get either unit to create the group as "host". I spent the best part of 90 mins trying to get it to work. Reset to factory setting, restart phones, delete Bluetooth and re-connect. Everything I could think of and nothing. We finally got them connected via Bluetooth option but kind of spoiled the ride as we had run out of time for the route we had planned.
So firstly, anyone got any advice on why the DMC connection wouldn't work? I'm going to spend some time at home today trying to figure out what's going on.
Finally, the end goal is for me and Mrs Pillion to be connected so we can communicate to each other but both be connected to the Carpuride unit, she likes to listen to what the sat nav is saying so she can prepare herself for what's coming ahead, as well as listening to Spotify etc. Not sure what would happen in the event of a phone call but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks
