The man's a god!

Just got back from a mate's birthday weekend. The mate in question pretty much has everything, so it was a bit of a push to decide what to get him. "A Ronno original" I thought, and PMed Ronno accordingly.

Within a few days, having sent a couple of piccies, the caricature arrived on the doorstep packaged in an, ahem, old Glenfiddich tube. Cheapskate - there was no malt left...

Here's the man:

and here's the caricature:

It's not actually a great photo of Peter, but Ronno's got him perfectly in the caricature, complete with tennis kit. Absolutely bloody superb.

Thanks Ronno. :bow

Brilliant

Bloody hell matey, these are brilliant.... I'll be sending you a photo very soon!

Bump!

See the face of a loved one light up when presented with one of these!

My mum got hers today (early xmas present) & was pleased as punch.

Thanks Ronno, from both of us. :thumb2

Sir James Burton

This was a Christmas prezzie for Sir James from Poppy. I know that she liked it a lot. I think James would have preferred to have been made to look more like Brad Pitt :D

Thank you Ronno

Ronno -- All twelve of the family here over Yule were very impressed and pleased with the caricature - no small matter as they were paying for it - everyone had a favourite comment , most of them extracting the urine !

I'm still amazed by seeing my father - mirrors & photographs do not record the inner being , somehow paintings , drawings do exactly that .

Thanks again Ronno & all the best , Jim .

As well as bumping the thread, this is the public showing of SeanC's caricature of him and his son. Sean sent me some cracking photos of them on various trips in Africa. Sean has just seen the finished result in photograph and has given me the thumbs up. That's always a relief :thumb2

A Tosser sent me a PM on 26.01.09 with a proposition regarding a caricature.

Before I could reply, I received a numer of PMs regading an event I'm helping organise and I ran out of box space. I deleted some messages including this guy's PM and I forget who it was :blast

If you see this post, mate...please send the PM again. I didn't get a chance to visit the link you sent me and I'd like a chance to consider your offer :beerjug:

Here's one of Les Wassall along with a photo of the man himself.

Just to give an idea of what one of these looks like professionally mounted and framed, this is one that Garbo2 had done recently. The frame and mount really finishes the thing off IMHO.

Revised Pricing For Caricatures

In view of the current financial recession, I'm cutting prices for caricatures by 25% which means that a water colour caricature painting of you and your beloved bike now costs £75.00. I'll happily allow payment over 2 monthly payments of £37.50.

Apologies to anyone who's given me previous orders and paid "full whack" as it were but the orders have dried up considerably and I'm trying to drum up some business.

Cheers,
Ronno

:bounce1Bump for someone who REALLY knows how to use crayons!:D
