Cassington Bike Night

Just thought I'd put a quick note on here in case you don't all look at the Thames Valley section. Tonight is 'Bike Night' at Cassington, just outside Oxford, very close to NOG. I'll be at NOG around 17.45, then a quick trip to Cassington. Last year this attacted about 6000 bikes.

Fantastic event. Well worth putting in your diary for next year. Last Monday of June. Lots of weird and wonderful stuff. From Classics (never seen so many Vincents) to modern Classics (Z1's Suzuki Kettles etc), a Hesketh, and some wacky thing with an 8.0 V10 Dodge Viper engine that the owner had only had up to 207mph before bottling out.

Sorry Steve (Divelandy) I missed you, my new phone is nowhere near as good as my old Nokia.

Sorry to miss you also Gregg. I was trying to push photo's to FB while i was there, and it wasn't happening, so assumed that 8-10k bikers descending on a sleepy hamlet once a year overwhelmed the mobile phone system.

Absolutely heaving event - i really enjoyed it and would only be improved if i could get the SO to drop me off, so i could enjoy a pint or 2!

I have some photo's on Facebook which you should be able to access. I should have taken more when i first arrived as there were slightly less people...
