Cat Plug mod?

Hi all, i have been asked by a friend who used to be a member regarding the cat plug.

Basically he has a 2002 1150GS, and when he put a remus exhaust on, he had to bridge a couple of the terminals of the Cat Plug.

He was wondering whether on my 1150GSA, with a remus exhaust, i should be doing the same.

I wish i had more info, but thats about all he could remember. I told him to stop being a tight arse and pay the subscription.

Anybody got any ideas? or is he going senile? I tried a search but it kept bringing up cap plugs!
