hi folks, im going to take my 05 12gs on its hols in jan 08 i believe the fuel in west africa will be full strength leaded so will i be wise to ditch the cat??
also any advice on what spares that i should consider taking would be appreciated.

Hi Paul,

Leaded fuel will kill the cat.

For some opinions of what to take, check out the recent thread on the horizonsunlimited (HUBB) site, lots of good folks with loads of experience of overland travel and big trips, even on GS12's.
