Sun is starting to show and so it's time to resurrect the for sale thread for my Caterham. Price will go up as it gets warmer !! Price right now, £20,500

New oil pressure sender just fitted (these are common problems on Caterhams due to location where they get battered), will come with new MOT, currently SORN for the winter.

I'm away 13-20 April but can answer messages, car avaiable for viewing in Halifax, West Yorkshire after that.

Link attached to the old ad (https://www.ukgser.com/community/threads/caterham-supersport-2012.495167/) but here's the details;

Found in a barn where it had been disused since 2019, this car has been stripped, had a bare metal respray, all perishable and consumable parts replaced by JW Motorsport in Brigg It's had a replacement speedo, so total mileage is approx 12,000.

ULEZ Compliant. It's a rare K series car from the small batch Caterham built in 2012. The K Series is arguably a better engine for the 7 than the Sigma, as it's lighter and has much less rotary inertia making it happier to rev!

All the work was done at Jack Webb Motorsport 's workshop, and the Verde Montreal paint by none other than Tony Whiting (a man who has painted around 10,000 Caterhams) at TSK Autocentre.

Spec includes:

New Verde Montreal paint by TSK
Matching stripes and roll bar in cream
4 point Caterham harnesses
New lightweight LiPo battery
LED Headlights with DRL turn signals
LED Rear Lights
TOYO R888R Tyres
Refurbished Caterham 8 spoke wheels in Anthracite
Supersport 1.6 spec engine
Oils, Brake Fluid etc all replaced.
New brake pads
New sump foam
New fuel pump
New starter motor
Fully refurbished suspension
Full road geo setup by Jack Webb Motorsport

The price is £20,500

PM for questions/further details.

I just sold mine on the PistonHeads auction site . You pay nothing it’s only the buyer who pays a percentage of the hammer price so you get what the highest bidder has bid. Gotta be worth a go?

Did you get what you expected Phil?

After a chat with Callum at Turn 7, price has dropped to £18,995 which is a bargain (and significantly less than I paid 300 miles ago!)

I love mine and every winter I think ok, I've had my fun out of it I'll sell it in summer. Then summer comes and... whoo-hooooo! not a chance.

Had a Locust a few moons ago, was great fun almost like being back in a kart again, takes a bit of getting used to it, after driving an Artic unit and trailer for over 30 years.

Only car that could remove the fun of bike riding from me.
