So still running in the euro 4 TB GS. Did 100 miles at the weekend including some motorway miles. One thing that I noticed was running over cats eyes WOW I could really feel them. I had an old 11.50 Rs before and it ran over then no problem. I checked the tyre pressures were ok the esa was set to soft. I have changed to normal to see if it makes a difference.
So has anyone else experienced this?
And before the fun starts YES I know you can avoid them if you look where your going

I thought it was just me I go out of the way to avoid them now (ESA and sports suspension)

I have also noticed the same affect. I have Road pilot tyres now, but it was the same with OEM tyres.
I think the cats eyes are a shock (impulse) to the semi active suspension, faster than it can respond to... It tries to respond as best it can. Which probably aggravates the situation. A bit like being on the brakes when going over a speed bump...
So there is a jolt / jerk... As a result. Not like you get with conventional suspension for a similar sized input. Eg on Honda fireplace or vfr 800. Or older BMW bikes.
I have sub consciously learnt to avoid cats eyes when changing lanes on motorways and dual carriageways.
Also change the suspension into soft mode on longer trips.
Overall it's a bit odd.
But I've got used to it after 2 years!

My 2014 lc is the same - feels like somethings jumped up and hit the underside
