I wish to connect up a CB Radio to my Autocom system to receive only through the headset.
Is there a connect cable with the suitable plug for the CB end available or is it best to get one made up.
p.s. I am not a 'Country Cousin' I use the radio to communicate on sporting events.
Any Ideas?

Rich, Contacted your mob (HQ) yesterday, but did not get a reply. So thanks for picking this up. My CB is a Midland 98, tankbag mounted. I have previously used a lead from the speaker output to an earpiece, but would rather run it via my Autocom system. I think the plug is mono but this does not matter so long as I have reception in my helmet.
See what you think!

Hi Robfin,

No problems and I am sorry that you did not get a return phone call as were all pretty much flat out with customers all day yesterday.

So Midland is the speaker side of the connection a twin pin socket as in a 2.5mm and 3.5mm jack plug sockets? If so you could try our Part 1435 £13 which is mainly designed for the Midland G7's but has been used on other models in their range.

The out socket on the rear of the CB is a single 3.5mm jack plug.....?
The set being a 'car' unit.

Sorry for the delay Robfin ive been trying to a bit of research on the Midland unit but unforunately have not come up with a lot. I would say we could get you connected but ideally before we give you the final thumbs up could we have the Midland sent over to us, so we could check the connections. This will then let us see if we could supply you a special build phone lead etc.

SORTED....!!
My local CB shack made me up a new lead, just a short one to convert the mono output from the unit to the Autocom stereo music lead. now works fine.
thanks for your effort in this matter.
