I know, I know. The subject of pannier liners have been covered in great depth and trust me, I've read most of them. This has helped me narrow my choice to the above named two.

I'm wondering if anyone out there has been in a position to compare them in the flesh, so to speak. They both seem to offer what I need but Im wondering if the Cee Baileys are worth the extra wedge and I can't seem to work out if the Mane Event items have any zipped pockets inside or out. I know it's all very sad,but like most people I like to get the best for my money and in all reality there's nothing like rubbing your hands over something before you buy.
I just hope someone out there has been able to do so.

Thanks, ALL advice greatly received.

I bought Mane event recently. Very quick delivery. Well made, double stitched and lined, inner pockets (no zips) carrying straps, expandable, vit varios perfectly.

Well pleased.:)

I have also bought Mane bags for the GSA boxes. Good fit, with an additional section where the exhaust cut out is.

Come with additional carrying straps - but not used.

I actually arranged to pick up (near the Trafford Centre).

So far no problems and recommended.

Cheers Cooperman,
I've seen a picture of the GSA ones and, as you state, they have the extra bit to fill the area above the exhaust. Unfortunately the standard GS ones don't have this feature, or handles (just a shoulder strap).
This is a couple of the reasons why I'm still considering the Cee Baileys.

Thanks.

For ali panniers check out Kriega's new offering. usual Kriega bombproof construction, smart and practical

Also bought Mane Event liners and very pleased with them too. On the exhaust pannier, I have found that the space left by the liner is almost a perfect fit for my tool and bulb kits.(this is when my wife is also travelling, where space is at a premium)
On holiday recently, I improved this set up by gaffa taping the above items in place so that they did not fall out when I removed the liner.

Before anyone jumps in, I did not gaffa tape the wife, although I have thought about it at times!

Whilst doing my research I came across someone on here doing a very clever plastic plate that covered the void in the left hand pannier to stop things falling out. Does anybody know if he's still making them?

Can anyone recommend a good tank bag, tempted to buy the BMW one unless anyone knows of a better product?
