Ceebaileys screen and Tobinators

Does anybody know if it is possible to connect the Ceebaileys standard GS1150 Adventurer screen to the existing tobinators without cutting the screen about to stop the handlebars hitting it on full lock, The reason I ask is that over a period of time where the Tobinator connects to the sreen there is now a split appearing and the the BMW standard screen is quite expensive
