Anyone bought one of their screens?

If so how long did it take to arrive?

Excellent screens - really considered the R&R in the states by many. I have one and highly recommend them. A major bonus ius being able to order custom sizes and they have many styles. They usually ship in a few days by Fedex. Excellent service, owned by a BMW rider ... their main business is in aircraft screens so materials and finish are tops.

cee-baileys

Had 2 cee baileys screens in total- excellent quality , the bees knees.

took 5 days to arrive as I paid extra 50 dollars for the quick delivery

Hmm!

Ordered mine over two weeks ago. Got an e-mail confirming my order and stating delivery 7 to 10 working days. Have sent an e-mail back asking to confirm delivery..........nothing so far.

Oh well, patience is a virtue I'm told!

Mate of mine took 3 weeks.

working days - do not count weekends

Its worth the wait

Excellent screens, had mine for 18 months now, you can now get 'em from Woody's Importarium in the UK.

which version of the screens are you using from cee baileys ?

I believe that they have three different types that work on a non-adventure 1150GS and I've been trying to figure ou which one works well.

Arrived, fitted and tested!

I was happy enough with the standard Adventure screen in terms of size so I ordered a standard replacement in the dark tint.

The shape is sufficiently different from the OE screen in shape to make a difference.

Having fitted Tobinators with the OE Adv screen, I found that the Ceebaileys screen can be set lower and more steeply raked without the rear edges fouling the handshields on full lock.

There is less back reflection from the headlight too because the Ceebaileys screen seems to be cut higher at the front.

Without the Tobinators the OE screen flexed a little. With Tobinators it flexxed and wobbled quite a lot. With Tobinators the Ceebaileys screen, partly I think because of its different shape, or because it is much more substantial material shakes less than the OE screen without Tobers marvellous invention. It cuts down the buffetting even more. I rode 90+ miles today, mixed lanes over Dartmoor and dual-carriageways with my System 4 in open face mode. No discomfort at all (be different if I slide down the road on my face but that might be an improvement anyway!):D

Here's some pic's from different angles. (bear with me I can only post one at a time!)

Yep. Touratech Zega. Cannot claim the idea was mine, Uncle Albert has that claim to fame. Top bloke.
Basically it's sticky stuff supplied by a Graphics company. 3 metres was enough to do both cases (with one huge cock-up), cost £30.

...what's that box thing on the back with a sort or rack on it?

...looks interesting..:D

Al Jesse topbox mounting box thingy. I comes open at the top where you'd normally mount one of his topboxes and has a lockable door in the side.

The rack is a TT extended Adv rack (now anodised black).

I found that it was a pain to have to unlash any large bag on the carrier to get into the Zegas. The Al Jesse box just raises the rack and anything on it clear of the case lids.

I closed off the top with a Stainless Steel plate cut to size, used the topbox mounting holes and sealed it with some silicon jism. The TT rack is mounted on 6 3/4 inch ally spacers to allow straps to pass under the rack.

As the underseat storage on the Adv is limited, the Al Jesse box is handy for tool roll, bulbs and all sorts of bits you don't want to have to dig out of the panniers when you need them.

Again, I can't claim any stroke of genius, just spent time studying pictures of other peoples bikes, in this case Mike O's!

Al Jesse does a closing plate/rack for the box in two different sizes. Mike O's seems to have the smaller plate.
