I want the GPS ans aux socket live all of the time, and the dip and main circuits are only live when the OEM lights are on anyway.

Ive put mine in the tooltray Alan. I took the tray out and got the dremel to work so I could feed the cables into the tooltray from the side. The panel is fastened to the tool tray with self tappers.
The tool roll sits on top of the centech and is held down with the strap in the usual way. I think putting it above the battery would be ideal but I have the autocom there.
The seat is on the high position and comes on and off easily, in the low position its a little more reluctant but still works fine

Just a thought John and nothing personal you understand, but based on some of your other..... errrrr, "photos", can you make sure that the camera is set to auto focus please.
Did'nt bother drilling the air box, just made a bracket and used the existing screws

You would have to be careful with the leccy tape, when i took the photo the tape was neat and tidy, and now a few months later the tapes started to lift a little, must have got it wet

I've not used one of these, but I had looked into is and was going to suggest the side mount on the airbox... I'm pretty sure I've seen one done that didnt involve removing any of the fuses.
Having not got one I dont know if this is going to work but... I fitted a couple of aux sockets to my 12GSA 1 to the rear and the other to the front, I used a couple of inline fuel adapters from Maplin. I found a good space under the tool tray that seems to be unused, there might be spare in there for the Centech panel???
On the 12GSA, remove the tools and the tool tray lifts out to reveal the extra space.
