Excuse my ignorance but how can anyone have rights to this product when they've been around for years

I'm sure I saw a similar product in a Touratech (or similar) catalogue last year.

I'm making one for my 1150GS (which I collect Saturday). Once I've made a cardboard template, I'll cut it out of 3 or 4mm aluminium sheet & hold it in place with 4 small u-bolts around the centre stand legs.

If you need sheet aluminium but don't fancy paying new prices, look in the Yellow Pages for for your nearest recycler of non-ferrous metals. You' ll be surprised at what you can get for £2.00 per kg, especially if you have any car racing/F1 outfits near you.

Hello,
Yes Steve, you can make your own guards and right again on the center stand skid plate. BUT no one makes a front cover protector for the Adventure yet. I also spray a long lasting special formula on the Aluminum plate for durable punishment.
I'm just a guy that is doing this for a hobby and just starting out. Having fun interacting with people and have met some GREAT one's.
So like Bob said. Just another person.
No harm in trying..

Made this stand skid-plate at work (hope picture comes out), cnc machined 3mm alloy, even got scrapes on it now!
