Centre stand springs... secret technique??

In the past with both the r1150gs and the r1200gsa tc and any Japanese bikes I have always fixed the springs to their correct location of the frame and stand , THEN using the stand itself as the lever line up the mounting bolts , usually a 2 minute job without the faff of paracord/ spring pullers or ratchet straps

Realised I'd not taken photos as I was putting the crud catcher on...

I COULD strip it back down again and take some stage by stage photos but now that's it's back together I think I'll go for a ride instead

I can see how using the cenrtestand as the lever could work, but as far as I can tell, a short length of paracord (Blue!) would still be needed...

Not sure if the earlier GSs/GSAs had a single spring or the twin set-up of the LC?

All I know is that the twin springs are Bl**dy springy!
