Centrestand

Could someone please tell me how far the front wheel should be off the ground when the bike is on the centre stand and the rear wheel on the ground. Assuming we are talking about level ground and an 1150. I am shortening my centre stand to suit 17" wheels BTW.

2.5 ins, but depends on tyres. Mine's an adv.

Thanks, I'll get it welded now. Mine was way too long since I put the 17" wheels on
