Hi all.

Was given this from a friend to ceramic coat the panels on the bike. I’ve never done ceramic coating before so just wanted to gauge if..

a. This is suitable for bike fairings
b. Is it a professional job or is the process quite simple?

It’s dead easy. Process is cleaning the bike like never before and drying before application then follow the instructions.

Not familiar with the brand. You’ll need an applicator and a very clean buffing clothe.

You need to clean any surface with panel wipe before adding any type of ceramic.

GardX is what car dealers sell to customers for about £400-£500 and they get the car washer to apply, not sure how effective it is tho it’s frowned upon by detailers as being shite.

Most products involve a fairly simple process of apply the product, wait a set curing time, then buff off. Some require misting the surface with water in advance, some require evening out the ceramic layer with a damp cloth. No rocket science in there, just need to follow the steps.
