CF Moto 450MT

Maybe maybe not. How much is a service? How much is an engine? JJH
You can't get bikes right now, let alone get hold of an engine should one go pop. I bet you'd be waiting months.

The best reviewer gets the bike at last

He's a good reviewer and covers stuff in a thorough but still interesting way. So many reviewers just seem to spout stuff that they've written down from a press brief or that they've probs noted down from other YT vids.

My brother and I have two on order that should be arriving any day. I put a refundable on the KTM 390, but the way it's looking just now I think the MT's might be the better option.

I am seriously considering getting one of these, have people received theirs? Any site I look on they are still 'pre-order' - is this months of waiting? Also, being 6ft6(2m) how are these for tall people (happy to get a different seat), I have done alot of off-roading on a KTM 525 EXC (2005 vintage - which I still have), was thinking of converting it, but as its so old, the cost of this 450MT is extremely tempting.

Re lack of supply / sold out.

When pretty much zero bikes have been delivered since the KTM going bust debarcle is obviously helping the waiting list. (I am not dissing the 450MT have ridden one and is a winner.)

(Whats KTM got todo with this you may ask, CF Moto were using/tied into distributing these bike by KTM UK - this agreement has just been torn up and a new UK distributor is being sought is the word on the street).

So, yes if after one get your deposit down but both being able to make enough of them and also get them to dealers in the UK needs some attention at the moment.

Lack of supply. Typical Chinese business model.

Zero parts supply too I’d wager.

That is the worry
No contingency and have to look for another distribution resource at short notice

I've been told the one I have on order is a complete unknown. Supposed to get it now but they've zero info from the euroland distributor about delivery. They can't even find out if they're on a boat yet, let alone in europe. I've also put a deposit on the KTM 390, also supposed to be here. I think it'll be the first supplier to send a bike that wins. 😂

Not sure if reported on here but much discussion on the FB groups for those who didn’t know - due to the KTM situation CF Moto have announced last week that the distribution contract with KTM in Europe was terminated. All existing orders were to be cancelled and a new importer to be announced 1st June.

All in all a pretty crap situation especially for those who ordered end of last summer

Best chance to get one is £1 in Nathan’s raffle announced today.

I was looking at one in Greece last week, the guy leading the Overlanders tour there was on one and rated it highly. It’s an Overlanders owned bike so it’s also done off road trips in Morocco.
Sounds like a good bike, just can’t trust the supply chain as yet.

Trust a Chinese supply chain. Might be a fair wait.

Prefer the look of the original. Prefer the sound of the Yoshi. However....round here, the quieter you ride round the trails the more likely we are to keep them open. So I'd stick with the original, which sounds great out the box anyway.
