What size is the chain drive on the GS650 Twin?

525. 116 links?

Want to replace the chain on the wifes bike as a bit of peace of mind.

I also fitted the DID professional chain to my GS800 and my wifes GS650, both 525 chain 116 links. If you are not swapping the sprockets at the same time its worth removing the front one and adding a bit of copper slip to the splines. Mine is rusted solid at the moment, the GS650 sprocket slid off easily as there was some assembly paste on the splines. The replacement 17t sprocket would not slip on though, I had to boil it in the chip pan for a few minutes to slide freely on the splines.
