I have an 1150 GS with race Laser can + Y piece and associated chip fitted - pillion complained of racket so I sourced a road legal Sebring Can from this very site and fitted - bit quieter it has to be said - there is a noticable loss of torque at low / mid range - am I stuck with this or can I get the fueling changed to suit possibly restricive can ??

I have read somehwere about removing a fuse / relay and twisting throttle 100% to reset the Motronic - is this kosher or Bull*hit ?? hopefully some of you learned types can assist ! :bow

It resets the Throttle Position Sensor.

Pull fuse 5 and leave out for at least 30 seconds.
Replace fuse.
Turn on ignition (don't start engine).
Fully open and close the throttle twice.
Switch off ignition.
