Changed battery and now doesn't tick over!

Hello all
Got a stange one here that I would like help with if possible please.

Changed the battery on my GS1150 tonight ready for a Euro Trip and when I went to start bike it doesn't idle, it just cuts out!
Can't understand what I've done wrong, checked the wiring and fuel lines etc.

Any help much appreciated.

Throttle cables, at the bottom......they're not seated properly.

As Bill says look at yer throttle cables.....most likely right hand side.

i had the same problem when i changed my battery on a 1150adv,this may sound stupid but has the battery been charged to full, i only ask because i bought one from rainbow they told me it was charged fully and it was`nt and the bike would`nt run properly or start, hope this helps

Only 'cos the photeee from Kev's post in the FOAW was gone and I couldn't be arsed to look for it,....the answer was up in 3 mins
