Can anyone give me some advice on the easiest way to change the Oil Cooler Guard on an R1150GS ? I haven't tackled this yet, and it may be obvious once I start, but before I end up with a few spare nuts, bolts and screws when I have finished, I thought I'd ask if anyone has some instructions.

Cheers

Not sure why you would want to change it;not any kind of filter.
Anyway...remove screen (4 screws),remove silver instrument cover (2 screws),remove headlight surround (2 screws).
You should then be able to jiggle the guard out.

Thanks for that - guard changed, although I did have to loosen the 2 Allen key headed bolts holding the headlight mount in place so I had a bit more flexibility, rather than bending the new guard.
The reason for changing is cosmetic, I got one with The letters GS stamped out on the new one.
Cheers

What are you doing with the one you've taken off, Bob ?
