changing rear shock from ESA to non ESA

as the title suggests I'm after changing my ESA rear suspension unit to a non ESA unit, is this possible and what do i do with the electrics?

Yep simple as that.. no lights or nothing

Can confirm Rocky Burns' advice. I recently removed my ESA unit for reconditioning and replaced it with a non-ESA unit. It really is just a question of disconnecting the ESA plugs and taping them up, remove the ESA unit and bolt in place a non-ESA unit. Job done. No warnings are displayed.
