Charging light

Started my 1150 to come home from work everything fine, but I knocked the fast idle off too soon and the bike stalled, restarted ok but the charging light stayed on. it stayed on for the whole 25mile ride home. I thought that the stall may have done something to the belt so I removed the cover but all was in order. restarted the bike and the light went out straight away.

Do I have a possible problem begining to show up or is it just one of those GS things???

Sorry, never heard of that one, make sure to have a spare charged battery, belt, towrope and set of tools with you for thenext few journeys...
