Hi, all I'm looking for a trickle charger for R1100GS, could anyone guide me on what is the best type too buy?

I've had an Optimate for well over 10 years now and it's always served me well. No idea if the more recent versions are as reliable...

The clever answer is 'ride it more..'
I went for an optimate too.. mainly for the sake of convenience. using it with the bikes own power socket.
I don't use it so much now.. new battery last year and nothing on the bike thats a constant draw. No alarm for instance.
It will get pulled out if over the winter I get ABS faults.. which for my 1100 at least is the first clue that alls not well in battery land.
Optimate for convenience. But only when the bike tells me it needs it.
