Can anyone tell me the date/year that the ARAI Tour X3 Charlie Boorman replica was released ? Might seem an odd question but its warranty connected and if anyone can answer this question Iam sure someone on here will able to !!

Thanks for that, I knew someone would be able to provide a link. I did think they had been launched around that time but wasnt sure and that article has just reinforced the fact. Now off to Arai's warranty department, nothing major just a dodgy neck roll !

I thought all Arai have a label in them that has a number which can tell them when it was made?

All Arai helmets have the month and year of manufacture stamped into the leather part of the chin strap

I dont have my Tour-x to hand but I was unable to find the manufacturers date stamp on it when I bought it.

I was told by the arai expert in the shop that the stamps had been hidden as some racers at the previous IOM TT had their helmets failed at scrutineering because they were a year old and not brand new. He was able to show me the date on mine by the way but cant remember where it was. Never heard anything else about the TT story either
