Charlie Boorman's GS

Dont know about deer whistles but do you know where i could get some cheap ones.:reaper

For those that saw the bike at the NEC. I thought it was in pukka condition considering the number of 'offs' they had.

Good clean and it would be half decent.

The boy pissin' on the BWM badge, that's a neat touch:D :D

Seeing as BMW donated the bikes, that seems in bad taste. I know this fella wanted KTM's but not very classy thing to do in my opinion.

Anyone know why the BMW top box only, and not the panniers also? You would figure BMW would have wanted to see their bikes all BMW.

Agree with you Slim. I saw the bike a week ago and the boy pissing on the BMW logo struck me as being a bit "insensitive" - I'm surprised someone hasn't commented on it before. BMW did after all give them 3 fully kitted free bikes, 3 free Off Road courses and no-doubt free servicing, parts etc during the 3 month trip. Just couldn't understand why BMW just didn't have the bike facing the other way - unless of course the other side was worse. The panniers were certainly included when the bikes were delivered - Boorman was filmed denting one getting the bike out of the van - but for some reason, they seem to have been swapped.

Just noticed the engine protector bars have what looks like thin neoprene wrapping 'round them......

Any who's read the book know what that's all about then?

Went to the show - the neoprene is actually that sand-paper type surface that skateboarders stick on their boards. So Charlie could put his feet up on the long stretches I think.
