We stayed here for our last few night before the overnight ferry from Le Havre.
Campanile seem to have gone upmarket as I had associated them with mediocre hotels on motorway junctions and industrial estates. They seem to have these Prime branded places now, mostly in city centres. A bit like the Ibis Styles ones that have been around a while.
This one is a 10 minute walk to the cathedral and older part of the town. We like to have a day off the bike in a historic centre to do a bit of sightseeing.
The hotel also has secure parking for a reasonable €8.50 per space used.

Just a few miles away is the Perche NP and this has a load of lovely, undulating roads through forests. We did a route with a refreshment stop in Nogent le Rotrou.
For the increasing number of you touring by train, the hotel is a short walk from the main station.
Decent restaurant across the road, Tomato et Pimente. The haddock dish on a set menu was fabulous - smoked haddock and mussels in a creamy, saffron sauce
The Tabac bar opposite is a bit grotty so we used a couple just across Place Chatelet on the edge of the main city area.
Edit: to Caen or Le Havre is about 2.5hrs on a motorway or 3 hours avoiding them. I had plenty of time so took a convoluted route via the Duclair ferry and the Parc Naturel Régional des Boucles de la Seine Normande. Loads of twisty roads to choose from, some quite narrow and steep with proper hairpins.
