Chassis Number Location

Not very technical i know but CW forgot to record it when my bike was up there. They need it to complete their docs. Anyone know where it's stamped on the bike as my log book and other docs are in storage at present so i can't get them. Was told chassis number was visible on the right hand side of the bike and didn't need to remove the tank to get to it.

Any clues exactly where it is, as it was p*ssing down with rain this morning and i couldn't be a*sed to look for it - oh to be able to store the bike undercover.

Its on the steering headstock, on the right hand side as you sit on the bike. As well as the stamped in chassis number, you'll also find the manufacturers plate there too.
