CHEAP FRAME PLUGS

Now all you GSA owners take care with those bungs!

It's a well known "fact" that the upper tubes on the GSA tank frame also double up as "deer scarers"! The tubes are open so they emit a high pitched (inaudible to humans) whistle which keeps deer (and other scary wild creatures) away from your awesome steed as you're adventuring along. ;)

If you stick a bung in em you'll stop them from working and might invalidate your insurance in the event of a bike/deer collision :eek:

As a humble GS rider I have no such problems to worry about and will fit mine as soon as they arrive :thumb2

STOP! That too is a modification which, like changing the oil, alters your steed from that which you declared to your insurer, increasing its value and making it more attractive to thieves. Your insurance is invalid for even thinking about it.

Mine have arrived and they look great, all I need now is two to fit the largest hole either side, the one that is angled.

I sprayed a load of ACF50 into each hole prior to plugging too.

One of my newly-installed plugs popped out when I left the bike parked in the sun yesterday. Must have been the air trapped behind it expanding in the hot sun. I'd had to deploy the rubber mallet to get the larger bungs in; it was one of those that popped out. I found it by the bike after returning from my sea-side breakfast cafe.

same happened to me maybe a small hole needs to be drilled into them.

Packs of 4 were sold out, so I've just bought packs of 8.

Anybody want a set for a donation to a charity of your choice, PM me.

Anyone know of a cheap frame plug that fits the angled hole under the seat (the big one!!)?

Bungs

Fuck that.one of my 38mm flew off from the vibes of the bike.use a bit of insulating tape around it and it stays very tight.

Don't know if I'm missing something or not but I can't find the seller on ebay and the item number doesn't work for me? Can someone post a link?
