Just in case anyone is considering this crossing in around those dates you might want to get in quick...

I've just booked for my lonesome with bike - Plymouth Santander return - out 24th September returning 9th October with inside 2 berth both ways for £309. Crossing was only £65 on those dates + £100 and £79 respectively for the cabin! Wasn't entirely set on those dates but that felt too good to miss so I thought fuck it and booked.

Good time to go, especially if you can be flexible with places to go to chase the best weather.
At that price, you can treat yourself to the posh restaurant and some nice hotels.

Well done, I've just had a look and £107 each way in October I could manage, maybe there's one enticing price per day!

Been a couple of times in 2020 and 2021 staying here and just kicking around the Picos. Booked a few nights there again to have another whizz around the triangle, then I'll be heading into Portugal with no plan other than I quite fancy Nazaré as a destination. As you say, the itinery will always be driven by the best weather and whatever Michelin green roads I can join it all up with.

I'm off work now for the next three months at least so although I've booked the return ferry I'm not entirely wedded to it (£144) so I may even sack it off and head in another random direction back through France if the weather continues to play ball early to mid October. (y)

Not that I pay too much attention but I've never seen prices anything like that before, so I'd assumed a cancelled block booking perhaps. But even then with over a month before departure that seems unlikely.
