Might be interested. As we've had so much rain over the last few days, was thinking of heading down Strata Florida at the weekend. Would the panniers be suitable for use as flotation devices? And is a little flood damage acceptable? :augie

no problem this bikes seen the lot, ideal if you want to do some offroading and dont fancy getting your own bike dirty

We went up there last Saturday. We rode around Clearwen* and then went on to Strata Florida. We did about an hour down it and turned back as the 'puddles' were getting a bit deep and it was a foot deep in mud in places, churned up by the 4x4's. Mate was on road tyres so it made the going quite tough!

* We stopped at the farm gate at the top of Clearwen and walked up and asked the farmer for permission to use his bit of private road. He was more than happy to let us through as we had asked first.

Oi, I`m watching you know:augie As long as the bike is cleaned up, I don`t mind because it`s done the Strata Florida and been upside down a few times as you well remember Louisdut:blast

Anyway, I`m back on Saturday with lurid tales of bears catching salmon 50 ft away, unbelievable roads, broken final drives, eating whale meat, 110 degrees heat, mosquitos as big as your thumbnail and how even an Airhawk seat can get uncomfortable;)
