cheaper footrest lowering brackets

I sad to say my mate has just been snowed under with work, he moved into bigger premises and is still getting it sorted out while he's got loads of money making work coming in. he just hasn't been able to give any time to the making of lowering kits.

To be honest when he does get some time I'm going to get him to make handlebar adjusters first..The multi-adjustable type. But I’ll see him again this week so I'll ask to see if he can make a start on something soon.

Another "first-poster" like sam.johnson7. Excellent site - thank you one and all.

Deffo interested in these if price is right - it's the only way I'll ever get my pegs down!

Has anyone looked at raising the seat blocks to add more height? The fronts look easy, but the rears look like the lock is separately mounted, I think.

Welcome Andysdad, I raised the front blocks because I found I was sliding into the tank when braking.

It cured this but it increased the gap between the seat and the tank, so much so it looked shite and I worried about water getting into the battery area.

I fitted an Alaskan Buttpad instead, which solved sliding and numb bum after 100 miles.

:)

FOOT REST LOWERING KIT

Gary, I think by the response you've had already would suggest there would be a demand for a batch alright. Can I complicate the matter further by including a request for rear foot rest lowering kit. Even tho' the wee women is a shorty she still finds the rear pegs too high on the ADV, what are the chances??????
