Or should that be 'less expensive' :nenau

'Better value', even.

It would appear that the cold wind of recession has reached even the Motorrad dealers of this fair isle as Joe Duffys have initiated a Service Menu Pricing programme :thumb2

That, along with some recent changes within the dealership, have caused me to 'return to the fold'. The XC is currently over there for a bit of TLC & the GSA will follow in the near future.

They gave me a nice price of my chicken stripped tourances in my garage yesterday. I was given a decent estimate for the next service.

thats a big change from last years prices,, they quoted me E340 for a 10k service? got it done up in hursts for 153 sterling, they must have lost loads of biz:aidan

I hear that nice* Andrew fella is back too :thumb2

*for a Lancashire lad:augie

Why go back?

They have been charging through the nose for years and come the first sign of a financial recovery, the prices will return to where they were.

This also puts the squeeze on the independent garages.

By eck Padge, tha's reet, I's back at t'duffys wit t'all bikes and that like...

The accent is wearing off now, although I did get corrected on the pronunciation of 'Costello' by Jockser yesterday!

As for the G650X v R1200GS service price, the 650 actually has the same 10k service time than the new GS strangely enough, don't ask me why, it just has!

So how much for the older bikes then...... We don't all ride 2007's or newer.....?

Last time I rang, when I had the 1150ADV, I was quoted over €600 labour alone. What was it.... €122 ex VAT per hour labour?

Give us a ring and I'll get the details an price it for you
