If you dont want to pay a fortune for a Sat Nav and mount, then consider this which is ideal for occasional use on the GS 1200 or GSA (mounted on screen frame). Ebuyer are selling their own version Navigo sat nav for £44 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/159765 and then you can adjust the supplied mount to work with one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=160323992365
Works a treat and you have not been done up the jacksie for an over priced bike twat nav. Ok it aint waterproof but behind the screen it's kept pretty dry and you can always adjust a swimming pouch or similar to cover it if you are worried about it. Just run an extension converter cable from NN to power it.:thumb

The V3 screen isn`t very good as it`s opaque to start with a much better option is the V2 http://www.ebuyer.com/product/146673 then with a little know how you can bin the crappy Turbodog 5 or 6 software that comes with it and put Tomtom V7 software on and run the latest upto date V8 maps.

I have coverted dozens of the V1 and V2 to run Tomtom but don`t think I will be bothering with the V3 even though they are all the same unit inside. Must admit the V3 is the best looking one so far though.

They can be hacked very easily and made to run any Windows mobile programs along with Miomap and Igo 8. The hack dosn`t even effect the unit as it`s all done from the SD card, take the SD card out and the Navigo is as it was when shipped from Ebuyer.

Oh and to make them water proof just pop a clear sandwich bag over it with a lacky band to hold the bag in place, been using them that way for over 2 years now.

Now thats a bargain.

Is the screen viewable in daylight ?
I made up a waterproof box on a RAM mount for my Navman S30 but in daylight the screen reflects everything so much its near impossible to see.

I like the idea of this. Could you point me in the right direction as to how to hack it? Currently using Tomtom and/or Sygic on an old P990 but think it's time for a cheapskate 'upgrade'! :D

I have V2 and a 'mate' loaded TT7 (Europe roads included) i think? Do you know where i can get a user guide? I assume it is for the TT software? At the moment i've ony used it in the car and going from A-B using postcodes. I'm trying to find out if i can save routes, load routes from other's and how to do it. I think it does a hell of a lot more than i realise. It is an excellent unit and as you say if you can get the TT loaded on it makes it, even better. Just have to work out how to mount it on me 650 now, along wth me camera!!!
