Hi sorry if this has been discussed previously, I have searched and not found anything similar.

I recently purchased a AIO 6 for my new R 1300 GSA with BMW Sat nav prep, however when I fit it I can still see some red of the locking pins, above the unit which suggests they are not fully located. It seems secure and the mount is on the list of mounts it should fit.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Just checked mine - assume you have the new style cradle? See my pics - no dust or moisture ingress on the unit.

Yes, i've got the same issue with the bmw connected ride sat nav i.e i can still see some of the red locking pins.

Pushed it a little to make sure it was locating ok but that didn't change the red showing.

Locked it with the key and seems tight and secure enough. Ive been riding most of this year with it and never had a problem so i dont really give it any thought now.

I'm sure if there'd been any sat navs bouncing down the road because of it the mothership would have sorted it.

Sometimes loosening the 4 T10 (I think) bolts in the middle of the cradle itself and adjusting it a little can help.

My new bike was all over the place and once adjusted the unit fitted in just fine.

I had problems when I first set out with the new mount and the Nav unit itself. It wouldn't lock into place and would just jump out of the mount. Finally got it to stick but was shit scared it would jump out en route. After the first days riding I took it out and it fitted perfectly when I tried it in the mount again so my guess just some stiff pins. Works fine since then....
