Just bought one of these for my GoPro seems to mount securely and pretty discreet and also cheap https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/LMcAAOSwTOxfpfr8/s-l300.jpg and not too much scaffolding

Does that give you enough "back" angle looking at it you would get a good view of your petrol tank, you may need another connector

I was thinking that ,will try it out at the W/e . It might be looking through the screen .but for the price it has to be worth a try

They use heavy duty Dual Lock adhesive pads. Very strong/secure but also easy to remove if no longer needed.

Did a quick run and although it it looks 50% through screen it’s fine .the image quality of the hero 8 black is fantastic the image stabilisation works great .
