Choice of lower engine guards

People have their favourites, for good reasons, but for what it's worth here's why I chose the Wunderlich bars:

1. Relatively light (3.8kg)
2. Not obtrusive on the bike
3. Intended to protect on a low speed drop (I am not convinced about their worth in a higher speed crash).
4. I don't do serious off road on this bike.
5 Reasonable price (£299).
6. Really easy to fit - 15 minutes.
7. The protection bar is ideally placed in relation to the cylinder guards.

I went TT sports ones for much the same reasons…
( turned the little metal plate round so it didn’t show as Touratech!….. why should I advertise their product unless they are paying me)
 
I just added the Touratech struts (4th connection point) to the existing BMW bars
I did the same as above, tourstech support strut on standard enduro pack BMW bars……..I’ve see a solid endorsement as to how good the standard bars are at the ORS school in south wales…….if they can protect the cam covers with what I see happening there…….they are good enough for me!
