What better way to celebrate Christmas then with good old fashion british grub ..

Thursday 4th of December .. 7:30pm onwards.

Lahore Kebab House, 2 Umberston Street, London, E1 1PY

Then later .. onto various "entertainment" establishments as recommended by Wapping :augie

The usual venue: Lahore Kebab House http://www.lahore-kebabhouse.com/

2-10 Umberstone Street, E1 1PY - Just off the Commercial Road (A13) close to Aldgate.

Bring your own hooch, as as it has no licence.

Anyone want to go for beers before / after? If so, I would be up for it........leave the bike / car behind.

Let me know who wants to come and I'll book it up.

Maybe a few pre curry beers, say starting in the liverpool st area then moving east via a few choice establishments in the shoreditch area :thumb

Hi All,

Will try and suss out a route so i can join in the beer fest beforehand but it looks like 3 trains to get there..
 
It has been pointed out to me that, since its makeover, the venue is not as good as it used to be.

Anyone got any objection to moving it? Staying with curry, of course but maybe closer to The City....where the pubs are better anyway....

It's was really nice last time .. I heard no one complain. What is this mutiny? Name the fella so we can hang him :D

If there are "better" entertainment places for after if we eat elsewhere then I am in! :thumb2

Easy to get to: Underground to Tower Hill, L'pool St, Bank, Monument etc. Mainline trains into L'pool St, Fenchurch St or Cannon St.

Kick off in The Swan. Then wander round to Fenchurch Street, eat curry, come out and hit any of the City late night pubs or bars (open until midnight or beyond).....
