,i was back with the back doctor today who is a bit "concerned" with the lack of power in my left leg,he is sending me for an op on my back so no riding for me for a while.
it could be worse i could be laid up during the summer

have had a problem on and off for the last 3 years,this time it started 2 months ago and has been getting worse and worse,
i got an injection into the back 2 weeks ago which meant i could stand up and walk but the pain moved from by back to my lower left leg (it felt like my ankle was broken)
been on loads of tablets since that and pain is nearly gone unless i move wrong BUT i have very little power in my left foot and leg,i can bearly move my toes on left foot and the whole leg is very weak.
got an MRI done wednesday saw the doc today and he is sending me on to a surgeon now
sat on a bike for the first time in weeks yesterday could not change gear or get side stand down
thats why i missed the reci and will be missing the fish dash but i am told its a fairly straight forward opperation so heres hoping
ps i expected more slagging for the best excuse yet for not going on a run
no slaggage when it summat like that

The fisher folk would like to have a rough idea of numbers, would you mind declaring your interest below so we can persuade them it's worth opening and firing the fryer up!
Departure will likely be not too early O'Clock, say 10 ish from the Templeogue Texaco on the N81 just inside the M50. Route will be muddy boreens to R roads and anything in between.
Frank we can always save you a fresh cod and post it on?
