It looks like I may well have to be a no-show for this event.
Sometime between Friday night and early Sunday morning I have contracted a very violent leg infection in my lower right leg.
The quacks at Whitechapel hospital have no idea yet what might have caused it but are concerned that the intense swelling might lead to other complications, which is something I am keen to avoid. At the moment they are fighting it with assorted aggressive penicillin based pills and some chunky pain killers. The short term news is that I am now walking worse than a geriatric and they do not see it being any better for a while.
I will ask ChasMill if he will take over any outstanding bits, which I think is just the pub to meet in first.

Having spoken to Wapping this morning I can confirm he is in a bad way and not shirking. He will attend if still in the land of the living. Meanwhile I have first dibs on the car, HP2 Sport and the RC30 
I suggest the Three Lords in Minories as a good meeting point. It is very close to Aldgate tube station and the bus garage and is a Youngs pub so the beer is passable. It is then a quick walk to Tower Gateway for the DLR to Limehouse and the Tai Pan.
The pub we met in last year is now a Revolution Bar .......

Very sorry to hear aboput your leg mate, hope all is soon well those anti biotics do workk so heres hoping we'll seeyou. Youngs pub sounds great!
