- I popped into Balby briefly on Wednesday showing my daughter where her great grandma lived ..... Although very sad Sandford Road chippy is gone 
. Spent some happy times in the '70's walking around from my grandmas to pick up Fridays tea. Sadly back in the southeast now where fish and chips are just pants !
Hopefully we’ll see a return of The Bear to the pages of UKGSer sometime soon? A larger than life character and great company.
