Seeing as most of us have our pretier better smelling other halves with us would it not be an idea to have this as a formal attire evening? Just to make it a bit more special.

Long dresses and bib and tucker?

Just an idea, shoot me down if it's a stupid one :D

More like Xmas jumpers

I think I have the very thing tucked away in the wardrobe, Ms Cheek's is relishing the fact we will be flying over and hiring a car, she's already packed a suitcase full of shoes! :blast

I'm happy to go with bib and tucker, but agree with HRH on it being down to the indivdual on a smart formal basis.

Will Sir James be bringing his kilt btw? :D

Update to list is that Northface is unable to come and Mart P and Karon have taken this space. So still booked up - please let us know ASAP if you're unable to make it.

Oh Lordi I still haven't found the right shoes!

Can I just ask a stupid question - do we have to phone the hotel oursleves and organise rooms, or is that all done via a block booking?

We're getting there on the Friday now as Mr's B managed to get the day of :bounce1

Any suggestions for lunch or a drive out on Saturday pleeeeeeeeeease :aidan

( To Do ... Pick tux up from cleaners and let kilt out for the Robe'ster ) :mmmm

James, the run north to Braemar is a really nice road (even in a car :thumb2) and you get a really good lunch at Gordon's Tea Room, Mar Road, Braemar.

Alternatively, head west over Moulin Moor towards Pitlochry and have an excellent lunch at the Moulin Hotel. They even have their own Micro Brewery there.

Both venues are less than a 60 mile round trip and are direct routes from Bridge of Cally.
