Merry Xmas lads and lasses :thumb

Looks like Santa nor no-one else will be going down from Hassop to the Bakewell road ( over the roots and through the stream ) Another one lost I recon not the last = I've read somewhere theres a sitting of the panel on the 12th to discuss/regulate some other lanes ( Bradley lane for sure )

I don't think my knuckle will be too sorry to see that one go :augie:augie:augie

Looks like we'll be riding matt black bikes with no number plates soon then Mick :blast:blast:blast

You big gay bear! :D

You should come along.

Try not to kill your remaining 4 brain cells on New years eve.

Looks like I will be on the DR tmrw, had a bit of a spill on the GS and have banged the hip about a bit. Cant bare the thought of picking the GS up.

Whos coming then and on what?

Trust you're OK Gary?
Should be there on the KTM (little one)
Mate might be coming (similar bike but shinier!)
Richard

I`m fine thanks Rich, just a few bruises. The 1200 was a handful in those conditions yesterday.

-3 are we still on?

Went on snowrun in wales yesterday and it was very icy in places with temp around +2 and there were a couple of spills:blast. I had two close calls one during ride and one on way back.
Tomorrows forecast is even colder (see metoffice link below) are we all still attending? MY only concern is more ungritted roads and my new GSA getting wrecked.
Just not too sure its going to be a day for new bikes ? maybe i have been spooked by yesterday :(but are we better waiting a week or so when it may be a little less dangerous.
your thoughts ....

Daz, we will still turn out whatever the weather. We are made of sturner stuff than most folk.:D

Having said that, I dont think many GS`s will be there. I had a rough day on the big girl yesterday and shagged my hip up a bit. So its the DR 350 for me.
Jimbo will be on his 1200 GSA.

I cant see us going mad on the trail selection with big bikes along so why dont you come along and have a greasy fry up.. meet the regulars and we will take some nice easy lanes in.

Totally understand if you dont fancy it but we will be there either way.

Ice or no ice, come along

Yeah, make sure you come along Daz, I'll be on my 12GSA and like Gaz says the routes we'll be taking won't be too tough. Its what these bikes are built for :thumb2

Skygod,
will check roads in morning and take it from there with GSA .... may even drive in on four wheels :((is that allowed) if its white over .... think i too could do with a second bike for weather like this!

see you at katies

Gaz

Sorry to let you down mate....:(Still in a lot of pain from the High Side on sunday that frozen chalk fecking hurts :D Ribs and shoulder black and blue :tears

Have a good one and a Happy new year :thumb2

No worries Pip, your not the only one suffering from a few aches and pains from that day.
Catch you next time.
:thumb2

Watch out for the LARF boys.... (i don't think there are any girlz going? but that could be debateable :))....about 30 or so of them in 4 groups starting a different places doing a 'Memorial Ride Out' for one of the members, who unfortunately died in an RTA a month or so ago.

If you spot them... say Hello if you get chance.
