Can somebody give me the City Navigator Europe v8 sizes please ?

Number of map segments, size without autorouting and size with autorouting

197 Segments. 1099 MB including routing data. Routing data always included.

1188.6 mb without route calculation.

1809.5 mb with route calculation.

For those who maybe interested, Topo UK has the following:

750 map segments

1663.9 mb with route calc

1597.7 mb without route calc

So theres a lot of info to process with this new map. It looks realy good on the 276c and before I got the auto kit with C/N V8, I was using it for routing. The big dissapointment is, there aren`t many footpaths/tracks etc on it, so if you want to plan routes off road for walking or riding, you will still have to go for something like Memory Map. You can load what ever maps you want onto the unit, but you can only have either C/N or Topo running at one time, not both. Its just a matter of going into Menu and unchecking C/N, which then shows Topo (C/N is the default loaded map when starting the unit).

I have a 276C with a 512 MB card. When I use MapSource 6.10.0.3 beta it's not possible to upload more than 60-70 MB of mixed maps. I have no problems uploading 500 MB of segments from City Select only.

Have you tried uploading mixed maps with MapSource 6.10.0.3?

I am using Mapsource version 6.9.1. I have a 256mb card and I currently have 210.4mb loaded. This is broken down to 87.2 Mb of CN V8 and 123.2 Mb of Topo UK. I have not encountered any problems using v6.9.1. I will be getting a 512mb card a latter stage, when the price drops!

This is impossible to do with the Swedish topo map and MapSource 6.10.0.3 beta. Hopefully it's just a bug in the beta version.

I will be getting a 512mb card a latter stage, when the price drops!
