Ciudad Real: nice enough if not spectacular city. Hotel Sercotel Guidiana was good with free garage parking, cafe bar and restaurant. Plaza Mayor was a pleasant place to sit for a drink and tapas. Seemed to be few tourists, just local families going about their day in the early evening.
Good place for an overnight stop before or after riding through the lovely Sierra de Gredos to the north.
